Oh Tumblr, you disappoint me so
How is it that we’re 3/4 of the way through this Sunday and it appears that no one on Tumblr has made mention of the fact that David Karp, Lockhart Steele, and Keith Gessen all made the list of New York’s 50 Most Eligible Bachelors in today’s Page Six Magazine section of the Post? I’m especially disappointed with Young Manhattanite, who you’d think would be all over this. What more does YM need? Oh yeah…Rex Sorgatz! I presume that his omission triggered some sort of “we can’t cover this” editorial tipping point over at YM. Understandable. And how the hell can the Post leave Rex off the list with the addition of that intolerably adorable puppy to his life?! Shit, even I want to fuck Rex now!
And no, the article isn’t available on the Post’s website, naturally, because they’re web dipshits. So you have to go out and buy the paper at the newsstand if you want to read their “we think he’s gay but he did date Caroline McCarthy” take on David Karp. But, in my opinion, it’s totally worth the buck and a quarter.
